Providing humanitarian relief for thousands of refugees and the elderly in Armenia.

Who is Mission Armenia?

Mission Armenia was established in 1993 and is one of Armenia’s largest non-governmental humanitarian agencies. It provides financial, physical, educational, medical, emotional and spiritual support to over 6,000 refugees and 5,000 elderly.

Who is Mission Armenia (Australia)

Mission Armenia (Australia) was established in 2001 to raise funds from the Armenian-Australian community to support the work of Mission Armenia. The co-directors and volunteers were inspired by the work of Mission Armenia. They were moved by the desperate plight of Armenia’s refugees and abandoned elderly, and more recently by the devastating impact of the Syrian war on Armenians.

Mission Armenia (Australia) has no paid staff and relies entirely on volunteers.

Our mission

Our mission is to invite the Armenian-Australian community to partner with us in bringing humanitarian aid to refugees and the elderly in Armenia. We help Mission Armenia meet gaps in the funding of programs that save lives and bring hope to Armenia’s most vulnerable.

Mission statement

Our vision

The vision of Mission Armenia (Australia) is for all Armenian-Australians to become partners in bringing humanitarian aid and hope to refugees and the abandoned elderly in Armenia.
